Esentepe

This charming Mediterranean village is located 15 minutes drive east from the center of Kyrenia. Over the past few years it has greatly increased in size, as well as the entire infrastructure of the region. Many seek to buy property in Esentepe.

The translation of the name of the village means a windy hill. Though this is not a windy area. The fact of the matter is that in summer it is constantly cooled by a light sea breeze, which helps to get through the heat of the day comfortably.

When you drive into the village along the bendy road, you are delighted with the beautiful views. Pine forests descend along the slopes of the mountains to the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea fringed with sandy beaches. These are the views you can enjoy all the time of your stay in the region.

The village has a hospital, police station, primary and secondary school, a good choice of stores and restaurants.
If you want to see the real Cyprus, it’s a must to visit Esentepe. Lots of incomers have realized their dream of finding an ideal place in the sun by buying a house here. Most residential complexes in this area are located close to or directly on the coast.

Lapithos (Lapta)

The village is located 14 km west of Kyrenia, northward of the Kyrenia mountains. Due to the favorable climate and sufficient water resources, the region has many citric and fruit groves. The village is one-of-a-kind in its natural beauty. The conjunction of majestic mountain ridges and the azure waters of the Mediterranean Sea, surrounded by green gardens, make Lapithos a unique region of Northern Cyprus and a perfect place for real estate purchase. Many Europeans choose the village for recreation or permanent living. The necessary infrastructure is also well developed here.

Alsancak

Just 10 km west of Kyrenia there is a village that few people have known about before. Thanks to the rapid development of tourism and housebuilding, Alsancak has become a very attractive place for tourists and ex-pats in recent decades.

Alsancak delights with stunning landscapes. Mountains drop nearly into the central square of the village. In winter, clouds almost always gather above them, creating amazing patterns in the sky. On the opposite side of the mountains, the coast is caressed by the waves of the Mediterranean Sea. This is a very atmospheric place.

Along the coast there are wonderful beaches, 5* hotels, casinos, stores, restaurants, luxury villas and residential complexes, which have apartments of various types: from studios to three bedroom apartments.
There are also both public and private educational institutions in the village.

Thanks to the smart policy of the mayor's office of the village, a new embankment, a large recreation park and many other public areas have appeared there. The necessary infrastructure is well-developed.

Given the large scale development of Kyrenia, Alsancak has every chance of becoming one of the most popular places for real estate investment. Here you can live and enjoy ordinary life and at the same time be very close to the entire infrastructure of a large tourist city.

Karaoglanoglu

The village is located 5 kilometers west of Kyrenia. It used to be a small and remote village, but due to the expansion of Kyrenia, the village has turned into its popular suburb. The village used to be called Ayyorgi.

The locality is known for its lemon and olive groves. The place is very popular with tourists. Along the coast there are lots of 5* hotels and restaurants. One of the local attractions is the St. Fanourios Church, located right on the seashore.

As legend has it, this is the place where the saint ended his life by slipping on the rocks.

Karsiyaka

The village is located 20 km west of Kyrenia. The first mention of the settlement dates back to 1248. Previously, the place was called Vasileia.

Karsiyaka is buried in lemon, carob and olive woods. There are so many beautiful landscapes unlike any other place. The coast is rocky. But there are several sandy beaches hidden in cozy bays. On one of these beaches, sea turtles come every year to lay their eggs.

New bypass roads have recently been built and now the region can be reached in a few minutes.
Many investors choose Karsiyaka for its silence and peace, beautiful untouched landscapes, good infrastructure and low real estate prices.

Tatlisu

The village is located on the north coast to the east of Kyrenia, 30 minutes drive from the city. Most of the population of the village are immigrants from England and Europe. Recently, more and more Russian-speaking ex-pats have also become part of the local community. A small percentage of incomers come from Turkey.

The population is small, about 2000 people. It has its own good-neighborly environment and warm relations between residents.
The area is known for its fertile lands and is considered the main supplier of fresh vegetables and olives in the country.

Tatlisu occupies both coastal and mountainous areas. The coast is still unspoiled by large scale development and retains its original beauty and purity. This is the land for lovers of new experiences: breathtaking landscapes, unspoiled nature, many hiking trails, secluded coves, ancient ruins and abandoned churches.

Tatlisu is a small village with houses built in the traditional local style. The village has all the necessary infrastructure: parks, stores, restaurants, a hospital, a police station, a fire station, a post office, etc.
