The postal service in Northern Cyprus has some fine points that might be considered if you want your letter or parcel to be delivered precisely to the address, and on time. 
The TRNC does not have its own international postal code.

Therefore, any postal delivery occurs via the territory of Turkey. Before the address in Northern Cyprus, you must write special data: 
33000, Turkey, via Mersin-10 
In this case, the shipment will first arrive in Turkey, and then exactly get to the right address in Northern Cyprus. 

 
Rules for parcels dispatch from the TRNC: 

• maximum size of a parcel 50x70 cm 
• weight must not more than 20 kg. 
• no logos and/or advertising: if there are an advertisement outside the parcel, then it must be covered. For example, with wrapping paper, which you can buy at the stationery store. 
 
What can not be sent in a parcel: 
 
liquids, alcohol, tobacco and tobacco products, battery powered products, medicines, cutting and flammable objects, fragile and easily broken objects, cosmetic products, telephones, coffee, tea, agricultural and animal products, foods with a limited shelf life and drinks, dried legumes, and similar products. 
 
Please, note: You must bring an open parcel to the post office, having an adhesive tape with you.
