According to the law, the tech inspection must be carried out once every 3 years. Moreover, the due dates of the inspection for your vehicle can be found in a special chart that the police issue annually. You need to search by the first two letters of the car registration number. The due time has specific dates, for example, from 24/12 to 31/12/2022. It takes 8 to 10 days to undergo the inspection.

Having decided on the date, you should go first to any car service which carries out emissions tests, where for 30-50 TL (1.66 -2.77 euros) you do an exhaust gas analysis. The relative certificate should be submitted to the police inspection department.

The cost of the vehicle inspection is approximately 300TL (16.64 euros). You can also pay online. After payment, you need to go to the police inspection department and undergo the testing there.

Failure to arrange the Vehicle Inspection within the specified period will result in a fine. Each overdue month will cost 80 Turkish liras (4.44 euros).
