The Statistical Institute of the TRNC has published data on public officials' salaries. Let's see how much representatives of different professions earn.

An ordinary public servant will receive 56,079 TL (1,583.4 USD) in January 2025.
For those with a college degree, the salary will be 65,111 TL (1,831.8 USD)
Teachers get 68,686 TL (1,927.3 USD)
General practitioners get 107,434 TL (2,998.5 USD)
Specialist physicians get 124,521 TL (3,516.3 USD)

The highest salary is received by the President: 243,204 Turkish lira (6,882.7 USD)

Members of Parliament get 211,613 Turkish lira (5,994.1 USD).

Deputy Ministers get 151,087 TL (4,263.9 USD)
Leaders of political parties get 126,395 TL (3,553.2 USD)

We remind you that according to the Cyprus Turkish Civil Servants Trade Union (KTAMS), the cost of living for a family of four in the TRNC as of December 31, 2024 is 27,567 TL (779 USD).
